The Sharon Rowe Magic Fund holds a special place in our hearts.

Sharon Rowe, a friend and visionary businesswoman, was one of the founding signatories for #WeTheChange, a movement of women CEOs dedicated to making the world a better place through business. WeTheChange established the fund in her memory this year after she lost a battle with cancer in 2022.

As the founder and CEO of ECOBAGS, a certified B Corp reusable bag company, Rowe was a leader in sustainable entrepreneurship. She also authored “The Magic of the Tiny Business,” a guide for entrepreneurs seeking to create a profitable, scalable, and sustainable business that aligns with their values.

This year, for the first time the magic fund proudly sponsored four Changemaker memberships for women leaders who faced financial barriers to joining WeTheChange.

One of the awardees said receiving the scholarship was an honor she “truly didn’t expect,” and expressed her gratitude to the magic fund.
