#HappyPeriod is an organization dedicated to spreading awareness of menstrual health, eliminating the stigma surrounding menstruation, and providing people with periods options that are good for their wallet, their body, and the planet.

Not everyone who bleeds has access to the education or resources they need to manage their menstruation. Since 2015, #HappyPeriod has been gathering, assembling, and distributing menstrual hygiene kits to people who are homeless, low-income, and/or living in poverty. The movement is designed to help provide for those who would otherwise go without, including and especially LGBT, non-binary, teens, veterans, and those with disabilities.

With presence in Los Angeles, Washington, DC, San Francisco, New York City, Atlanta, San Diego, Miami, and Chicago, #HappyPeriod is currently developing a new program: a youth-centric curriculum focused on period health and self-efficacy.

#HappyPeriod is on a mission to end period stigma and period poverty, as they believe (as do we at RoundPeg) that girls deserve education, quality, and dignity — period.
