#WeTheChange started as a declaration written by women CEOs of Certified B Corporations and other purpose-driven enterprises. Today, #WeTheChange has expanded into a global movement of women leaders using business as a force for good.

On Giving Tuesday, #WeTheChange launched a fundraising campaign with the internal goal of raising $25,000 to seed future growth. At RoundPeg, we’re proud to donate 1% of our profits this year to help reach this powerful goal. Every year since 2003, we’ve donated 1% of our profits to a nonprofit in our local community. It’s one of the ways we put our money – and time – where our mission is.

RoundPeg is deeply committed to and shares #WeTheChange’s mission: to advance women’s leadership, prosperity and well-being, promote sustainable business practices, increase the flow of capital to women-led enterprises, advocate for systemic changes to uplift marginalized identifies, and align with the U.N.’s Sustainable Development Goals.

With the funds raised by #WeTheChange, the group will have the credibility to approach significant outside donors (Melinda Gates for example who recently committed $1 billion to gender equity!) to match the gifts, and which will help all of us be able to realize far greater movement on our action plans.
