Dr. Block is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Johns Hopkins Health System and the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He was President and Chief Executive Officer of University Hospitals of Cleveland, Case Western Reserve University, and President of Rochester Area Hospital Corporation. Dr. Block also served as Adjunct Professor of Pediatrics at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Clinical Associate Professor of Preventive, Family, and Rehabilitative Medicine, and Adjunct Professor of Health Policy Management at both at the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health and the Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. Bogetz, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine and an attending physician in pediatric palliative care at Seattle Childrens Hospital. Dr. Bogetz is a 2021 National Palliative Care Research Center (NPCRC) Kornfeld Early Career Development Award [email protected] Bowman, MPA,is chief executive officer for the Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC), which provides tools, training, and technical assistance to more than 1,700 health care organizations to improve the quality of care for patients with serious illness. She is an assistant professor in the Brookdale Department of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and a former Health and Aging Policy Fellow where she served with the US Senate Finance Committee. [email protected] Brody, PhD, RN, FAAN, FPCN,is an associate director of the Hartford Institute for Geriatric Nursing and Professor of Nursing and Medicine at NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing. He is also the founder of Aliviado Health and the Pilot Core Lead of the NIA IMPACT Collaboratory. His work focuses on the intersection of geriatrics, palliative care, quality, and equity. The primary goal of his research, clinical, and policy pursuits is to improve the quality of care for older adults with serious illness wherever they reside. His primary mode for doing so is through the development, testing, pragmatic trialing, and dissemination of real-word, technology, and informatics supported quality improvement interventions.
